Edakkal Cave
These caves are not only interesting tourist spots, but also archaeological treasure troves. As you enter these caves, you enter an ancient realm of ancient tribes through fine wall paintings that depict the ancient lifestyle very accurately and artistically.
Papanasini-Thirunelli
Referred to as the Kashi of the South, this temple showcases Kerala’s architecture at its very best. The gushing, sacred Papanasini River is close by and thronged by devotees who believe in legends of the river washing one’s sins away.
Kuruva Island
Kuruva is by many is referred to as a photographer’s delight; filled with flora and fauna rarely found anywhere on earth this small Island is God’s gift to his country.
Waterfall
The Soochipara, Kanthanpara and Meenmutty Waterfalls in Wayanad are adorned with natural beauty and fall into ponds and lakes turning them into natural picnic spots that are adored and loved by all. The Meenmutty Waterfalls display nature’s raw beauty as they gush downhill for 300 feet.
Banasura Sagar Dam
Banasura Sagar Dam is set amidst a lush forest and often visited by wildlife. Besides blending in beautifully with its surroundings, the Banasura Sagar Dam is known for being the tallest earthen dam in India.
